Seven Grand DTLA Whiskey Society: Tullibardine with James Robertson, Wed. 10/1, 7pm

This coming Wednesday, October 1st, we will be hosting James Robertson, Brand Ambassador from Tullibardine Distillery. James will taste and educate us on his unique line of Highland Single Malt Scotches.

A Welcome Punch will be served at 6:30pm, preferential seating will be given to paid-up members. Please remember your RSVP does not guarantee you a seat, come early and get cozy with your neighbors.

Tasting will start when the room is full, or at 7pm, whichever come first. Latecomers will not be seated, but can wait to James after the event, in at the main bar. Tullibardine specials will be offered to those with paid-up membership cards.

This coming Tuesday, September 23rd, we will be hosting Ronnie Cox, Director of Distillation for Glenrothes. Ronnie will taste and educate us on his delightful line of Single Malts. Please remember, your RSVP does not guarantee you a seat. A Welcome Punch will be served at 6:30pm, come early and get cozy with your neighbors. Advance seating will be given to paid-up members, one-timers can wait and pay a $15 admittance, space allowing.

Latecomers will not be given entry, but can enjoy member discounts on Glenrothes at the main bar as they wait to meet Ronnie after the event.

Thanks to all who came out for out Maker’s Mark Independence Day celebration, definitely one of our most fun traditions around here. Big ups to the Seven Grand crew for making it happen while I was out of town.
This coming Wednesday, August 20th, we will be hosting Kieron Elliott from The Macallan at 7pm. Kieron will be tasting and educating us on his famous line of Single Malt Scotches. Don’t miss this one!

This coming Wednesday, June 18th, we will be hosting Judd Zusel from Bruichladdich. Judd will be tasting us on Bruichladdich’s legendary line of whiskies, some very rare and awesome juice. Do not miss this one.

A Welcome Punch will be served at 6:30pm, so come early and get a good seat. Please remember, your RSVP does not guarantee you a seat. Tastings/education will start when the room reaches capacity, or at 7pm SHARP, which ever comes first.

Those turned away may enjoy discounts on Bruichladdich with their paid-up membership card, and wait to meet with Judd at 8pm, in the main bar, immediately following the event.

Meetings have been very packed of late, please don’t be mad if you can’t get in. We are trying to keep this affordable and accessible for everyone. We have not raised dues in the 5 years I’ve been helping to curate, and we want to keep it that way.

First-timers can pay a $15 fee for admittance, space allowing.

Be sure to come check out our Happy Hour, it is definitely one of the best around, with $5 hand-made cocktails, and a great food menu delivered by Pellicola Pizza, just around the corner.

The Bar Jackalope is open 8pm to 1am, Sunday through Thursday nights, a unique sipping library to continue your whiskey education in. Come check it out! We also feature live jazz and blues for FREE on those nights, at 10pm.
